Privacy Policy

• Your answers and response times for each question, and the score and category breakdown we calculate from them.
• Your age range and how you describe your gender, if you choose to answer. Both can be skipped.
• Your self-assessment answers — how you rate your own thinking, whether you have taken a test before, and what you want to learn.
• Your email address, so we can send your report and your receipt.
• Your approximate country and language, derived from your browser’s locale setting. We do not use your IP address to locate you more precisely than this.
• How you arrived— the marketing campaign or website that referred you, when that information is present in the link you followed. We use it only to understand which of our efforts work, never to identify you, and we keep only the referring site’s name, not the full address you came from.

We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, or any government identifier, and we never see your card details.

Cognitive performance data and how you describe your gender are personal and can feel revealing. We treat them accordingly: they are only ever used to produce and deliver your own report, and they are never sold, never shared for advertising, and never used to build a profile of you for anyone else’s purposes.

For your answers, scores, and email: to perform the contract you entered when you asked for a report. For anything optional you chose to give us — age, gender, goals — your consent, which you can withdraw by asking us to delete your data.

• Convex — stores your session, answers and report.
• Vercel — serves the website.
• Stripe — handles payment. Stripe receives your email and payment details directly; we never see or store your card number.
• Resend — delivers your report email and receipts.

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, it is transferred under the safeguards those providers have in place.

We keep your report while your access is active, so you can come back to it. If you never purchase, we keep an unfinished or unpaid session for 12 months and then delete it. Records connected to a payment are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to how we use it, and you can complain to a data protection authority — either your own national authority, or ours, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).

Email privacy@cogniva-iq.com and we will respond within one month. Because we do not hold your name, please write from the email address you used, or include your report link, so we can find the right record.

Cogniva stores your progress in your browser’s local storage so you can close the tab and resume. That is not a cookie and is not used for tracking. We measure our own funnel — how many people start and finish the test, and which campaign brought them — from the session data described above. We do not load any third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and none of this follows you across other websites.
